COURT APPOINTS MICHAEL JOHN ALOI AS NEW MAGISTRATE JUDGE

On October 1, 2015, Chief Judge Gina M. Groh announced that Michael John Aloi had been appointed as the Northern District Court’s newest full-time magistrate judge to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull at the Clarksburg and Elkins points of holding court.   Magistrate Judge Aloi spent 28 years at the law firm of Manchin & Aloi, in Fairmont, West Virginia, and is a past president of the West Virginia State Bar.  He served as Marion County Circuit Judge from 2011 through 2015.  On behalf of the judges and employees of the United States Court for Northern District of West Virginia, Chief Judge Groh welcomed Magistrate Judge Aloi to the bench and the court family.
