Court appoints Robert W. Trumble as new Magistrate Judge

On June 5, 2014, Chief Judge John Preston Bailey announced that Robert
W. Trumble had been appointed as the Northern District Court’s newest
full-time magistrate judge to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of
Magistrate Judge David Joel at the Martinsburg point of holding court.
Magistrate Judge Trumble spent 30 years at the law firm of McNeer,
Highland, McMunn & Varner where he practiced in the areas of business,
commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and civil defense litigation. Magistrate
Judge Trumble was also a bankruptcy trustee for the United States
Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia for 20 years.
On behalf of the judges and employees of the Northern District of West
Virginia, Chief Judge Bailey welcomed Magistrate Judge Trumble and stated
that he looked forward to the experience that Magistrate Judge Trumble
will bring to the bench.
